Description
The spa resort of Nunisi is situated in the Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park, 169 km from Tbilisi, which is 920 m above sea level. Its unique microclimate is formed by the mingling of deciduous and coniferous forests.
Nunisi mineral water is especially useful for people who suffer from skin and nervous diseases. In spring the fir and pine blossom air has an amazing healing effect. The local climate is especially beneficial for the lungs, and bronchitis sufferers, at this time.
Nunisi resort also provides aesthetic therapy. Nunisi mineral water improves the skin quality: it makes the skin look healthier and prettier.
Nunisi attracts both healthy holidaymakers and people with skin diseases. The following diseases can be treated there: psoriasis, eczema, neyrodermitis, dermatitis, chronic nettle-rash, prurigo and peripheral nervous system diseases such as neuralgia, neuritis and radiculitis. TOUR DESCRIPTION
Day 1:
Arrival in Kutaisi. Transfer from the airport to Nunisi, which is 88 km from Kutaisi. After checking in at the Samta Park Hotel Nunisi health resort you will have dinner.
Day 2:
After breakfast you will meet your personal doctor. After a check-up he/she will prescribe you additional medical tests, treatment and procedures for the next two weeks. Lunch and dinner in the health resort.
Day 3-15:
Breakfast, lunch, dinner and curative and wellness procedures in the health resort. Free time and nice walks around Nunusi.
Day 16:
This day you will visit Kutaisi, the main city of Imereti. You will stroll along beautiful streets and visit Bagrati Cathedral, which is included in the UNESCO Cultural Heritage List. It was built in the 11th century, during the reign of King Bagrat III. Afterwards you will depart to Tskhaltubo, and visit the Prometheus Cave, located nearby. This is one of Georgia’s natural wonders, and includes various types of stalactites and stalagmites, underground rivers and lakes. This is followed by transfer to the airport and departure from Kutaisi.
