British edition the Telegraph has published a list of 51 countries where number of tourists exceeds population. Georgia is 37th in the list. As The Telegraph reports, there are up to 1,4 tourists per each Georgian resident.
According to Georgia’s National Tourism Administration the edition used the 2015 statistics when Georgia hosted 5.9 million international travelers while in 2016 this number hit 6.3 million.
